Mandala Spa & Bath

When our design team got called to rise to the occasion, the task was not smaller then to make a dream come true. The project was to redesign a space of 650sm of a former gym into a luxury day spa and bath facility.
Oren Akoka had been owning and operating Mandala Day Spa since 2003. He acquired a large space next door to his Spa, and needed a team of architects and interior designers to help him to turn this outdated gym into a luxury filled spa heaven. He had a clear vision on how this location should operate, and he was able to get us, interior designers super excited. Mandala Bath was set to be an innovative, one of a kind and pioneer concept, that has not been seen in Hungary and in Central Europe. We were facing many challenges, both in terms of architecture and structural engineering, and this made this project even more intriguing.
We wanted to create a space that is not only enchanting with the excellent service and unique water experience, but also gives the visitor a visually stunning composition. We applied many outstanding materials, distinctive lighting, and we paid special attention to how the soft water collaborates with the applied materials.
Mandala Bath Experience is offering 4 different pools, a jacuzzi, a steam bath, and celebrated for the Mandala specialty massages.
