Design process & fees

SeRvice

Creating beautiful, comfortable and timeless interiors is my passion. I design homes that are tailored to the specific requirements of each client, taking into consideration location, budget, brief and personal taste of the client. I have honed the process and service over the years of experience to ensure I provide an efficient in depth design service that is split into the following stages.

The Brief

During the brief stage I take time to learn about how the client wishes to use the property, their personal style, lifestyle and aspirations. I will learn the needs of the project through a site visit or floor plans and photographs to ensure that I understand all factors such as time scale, budget, and any structural requirements. Following this thorough briefing stage I will send a proposal to the client outlining the scope of work and the design fee.

The Concept

Interpreting the detailed brief I will present the concept designs, consisting of floor plans, proposed furniture layouts, and any structural changes if required. I will also propose a mood board containing the images of the suggested furniture and materials. This is a very collaborative stage and I invite my clients to give as much feedback as possible to ensure we are on the right track.

The Details

Having approved all of the concept designs I progress to the design development and detail stage. All final architectural drawings and furniture selections will be presented, along with the final finishes and accessories for clients to approve and purchase. I will also present an itemized list of materials. Upon request, 3D renderings are also prepared.

The Realization

The schedule of work will be outlined and agreed. Upon the selection and agreement with contractors by the client, I will attend an average of 5 site meetings to ensure the designs are being carried out to their exact specifications and that the project is progressing as we planned.

Design Fees:

The design fees are always calculated for the specific project and the fees are based on the size of the space and the task. The first meeting is complementary in Budapest and surrounding areas.
